This was my last day in the office. So long First Christian Church of Seminole, its been good.

So let me lay it down for you like this. I am sitting in my office, writing letters, reading the Bible, and trying to figure out what to do about my last sermon when I hear this beep from my phone. Phyllis (the church secretary) has a message for me. Aparently the music teacher from Johnson Bible College just called to see how I was doing. It was none other D.T. himself. Merciful Heavens that just made my day. He couldn't talk because he was in a meeting but he was just thinking of me and wanted to see how I was. I may be more homesick for Johnson right now then I have ever been before.

All I have left to do now, aside from one lesson tomorrow afternoon is preach my last sermon here. I have already finished writing it, and already changed it according to some of my dads suggestions. I don't know how it will be. I am pleased with the content but unsatisfied with the delivery. How do I communicate the truth of God and encourage others? Am I relying too much on myself and not allowing God to speak through me? Or am I being lazy and expecting God to do all the work? Who knows. Its a good thing I still have a week to prepare and practice. For anyone out there who reads this thing please be sure and keep July 24th in your prayers if you would. Its my last day and my last sermon. Peace out!
